I will have to give that a try...I do use Photoshop CS3...but it might be a nice option...I always like cheaper options...sometimes are better...

have you tried pixelmator the osx ps clone
all the files are in the directories and folders on left ...
plus the organization works great
lightroom rocks...it also has devolope presests which you can share with people on the net

I would think most schools will always train in BW oldschool film for begining classes
