this was after special characters were giving me grief earlier today
I've seen variants of that in action
people looking at the source would go wtf
normal users wouldn't see the effect
basicly, take every character, and i mean every including stuff like a, b , 3, A, and replace it with the unicode tag equivenlent using a script
btw, i though of an evil way to write teh source for a website
write a script to do it?
well I assume you can script it some way
do you want to to pull out his eyes?

so are you going to go back and recompress all the old comics as PNG instead of JPEG?

course i have been told that one of the guys involved in designing the system was in love with objects and wanted to make everything an object
