As you may have noticed, we’ve made some updates to the qik.com website. Highlights include:
Sign in to Qik, or sign up for Qik, using Twitter Connect:
All Twitter lovers out there can now join Qik using their Twitter account. And existing Qik users can use Twitter Connect to Sign In to Qik and also set up their Twitter preferences from the Edit Networks page using Twitter Connect.
View comments posted on Facebook on your Qik videos on qik.com:
After you have posted your Qik videos to Facebook and your friends on Facebook comment on these videos, those comments will now also show up in your video comments on qik.com. So rather than having comments scattered between FB and Qik, they will be in both places. To enable this option, go to Edit Networks, click the Facebook icon on the left and then select “Read my newsfeed”.
Cool new way to setup your sharing networks:
The Edit Networks page now has a new look. Click on any icons on the left to set up the networks. If a network has already been set up, a check mark will be displayed on top of the icon. If you have set up to automatically post to a given network, an arrow will will be displayed.
You can now "Like" the Qik videos:
While viewing a Qik video you can now view how many people liked the video and mark them as one you like.
