Qik for Android was updated today (version 0.1.2.1) and is now available from the Android Marketplace. This update contains numerous bug fixes, improved quality, enhanced sharing capabilities, and better location support.
Enhanced Sharing
You can now setup your sharing preferences for Twitter, Facebook and YouTube from the Settings>Sharing menu in the client.
- Facebook: Setup your preference to automatically share all your public videos to Facebook.
- Twitter: Here you can setup preferences to toggle tweeting all your videos, setup a default text to be used for your tweets and be prompted to enter the text for your tweet every time you share to Twitter.
- YouTube: Change your preference to automatically share all your public videos to YouTube.
Better location support using cell id
Apart from the GPS, with now also use the cell id information to provide better location support.
