Variety Magazine, the premier source of entertainment news, has started using Qik. Their first couple of Qiks were around the midnight showing of Speed Racer.

The Word-of-Mouth Marketing associations WOMM-U conference started today in Miami Florida. This event is being covered by the Qikkers Jesse & Owen (qik.com/cobrandit.).

Memphis Mayor Willie Herenton addressed the Memphis City Council yeterday regarding his plan for Memphis City Schools. Thanks to Commercial Appeal (qik.com/commercialappeal), an online site for Memphis, it was streamed live using Qik.

Thanks to Qikker Debi Jones, we saw some great footage and interviews from the North Carolina Primary.

The great thing was that I was traveling most of the day yesterday and thanks to an earlier blog post by Debi came to know that she would be covering the NC Primary. So, every so often I would go to Qik from the browser on my mobile phone, download and play the latest coverage from her.

Today was another one of those days that will go into the history pages of Qik. Thanks to Qikker Dan Patterson, we witnessed the speech of UN General Ban Ki Moon live on Qik.
