New! Qik Video Connect iPhone App
SXSW Interactive kicked off late last week in Austin, TX and we’re very excited to be at the show announcing our new Qik Video Connect app for iPhone, iPod Touch (4th gen) and iPad 2! The new app lets you stay connected to your friends and family through video from just about anywhere. In fact, it’s the only video chat service with integrated video mail, and the first video chat app to include real time effects.
With Qik Video Connect, you’ll be able to interact with family and friends across 3G and WiFi networks in cool new ways – live video calling, instant social sharing, a new video feed, and anytime video messaging, just to name a few.
Qik Video Connect Plus (available for $2.99) is available in the app store today and includes additional features:
• Video editing right from your device
• Real-time effects in live video and video chat
• HD quality video – Instantly upload and share HD videos
• Video sync – Easily add Qik videos to phone’s camera roll for syncing to desktop.
Update: Qik Video Connect (a free version available without the extra features) is also now available in the app store.
