Qik now on HTC devices and more
Not a day goes by that we don't get requests for Qik to support more devices beyond the several dozen on which our software already works. We have great teams in Russia and the US who are focused on just that: bringing Qik to as many handsets as possible.
So we're pretty excited today to announce that Qik has released Windows Mobile clients which work on a variety of new phones. They include:
- HTC Touch Dual
- HTC Touch Diamond
- HTC Touch Pro
- HTC TyTn-II
- AT&T Tilt
- Sony Ericsson Xperia X1
This is in addition to Qik on the Samsung SPH-i325(ACE), which we announced last week. Version 3.16 of Qik for the iPhone went live last week, too, with location support and the best video quality for iPhone on the market. We're very much focused on both releasing Qik clients for as many handsets as we can, and iterating existing clients to bring the best possible experience to all our users.
So which handsets are next? Check back soon to find out!

Even version 0.33 have the reds and blues swapped on my Samsung I600 (on the phone display seems all ok but the recorded video is messed up). Would you ever fix it?

Hi, I was just curious: what changes do you make from one version to the next? I suppose that you share the same Windows Mobile app. code base, do you? Also, what about the blackberry (Curve, 8800)? Is java too slow? Thank you.

The camera selection dropdown is greyed out. Any way I can use the front camera on an HTC Diamond?
