Qik on iPhone 1.1x Upgraded!

Have an unlocked / jailbroken iPhone 1.1.4?


Then get Qikking from your iPhone by following these steps.

  1. Go to the Installer application and tap the "Sources" tab at the bottom.
  2. Tap "Edit" at the top right and then "Add" at the top left of the screen.
  3. Enter http://qik.com/iphone1 and wait for the sources to refresh.
  4. Go to the "Install" tab at the bottom, find the Qik category to select and install from there.
  5. Make sure you are on WiFi.
  6. Go to your home screen, start Qik and hit the record button to broadcast to the world.
Note: If you have not already, you'll need to sign up at http://qik.com/sign_up and receive an SMS from us to activate the application

    I would jailbreak my iPhone 3G just to have Qik on it :) Excited for its hopefully soon release, through app store, or not.

    Congratulations Qik on the release of IPhone. I was wondering when you were going to release...Flixwagon released early last week. Now I'm mad because I just upgraded yesterday to the 3G...Hopefully you guys will have something for 2.0 and 3G...Really won

    This is pretty cool. Such a shame it will never make it into App Store because it uses unofficial iPhone APIs.

    What about a version of flixwagon on the firmware 2.0 (2.0.1) ? I'm working on this new way communication, let me know if i can use an alpha-version(SSH install or anything), i could give you some feedback. You can contact me by email. Bast
